In Fall 2011 I was initiated into the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. We pride ourselves in academic excellence, service to others, and sisterhood. Since becoming a member, I was elected by my peers to the Chief Administrative Office as Historian. My job includes taking pictures at major social and philanthropic events to maintain the chapter scrapbook and keep our website current, as well as coordinating the annual chapter composite picture.
Women in Business Association
As of the Spring of 2012, I am a distinguished member of the Women in Business Association. Every semester we host various social events and attend weekly meetings. Many of our meetings include guest speakers of whom are woman entrepreneurs dominating their profession. Their advice and success are inspirational to my aspirations of one day becoming a business professional.
